Patrick & I decided that since we both had the day off that we would take the kids to Ripley's Aquarium. We have been remodeling our house for 2 months and really haven't had a lot of extra time to spend w/ them so we figured this would be a fun outing!I have been numerous times, but I still think it's pretty cool each time I go! Kaidence was actually big enough this time to really enjoy everything! She thought the stingrays were fun to touch. She surprisingly wasn't scared at all and wanted to stay in that area for most of the time we were there!
Once we were finally able to talk her into going and checking something else out, we went over to the horseshoes crabs. Landen was a little too short to lean over and touch the stingrays, but he was able to get into the action w/ the crabs!
And of course, Kaidence was able to touch them too!
We decided we wanted to get the kids ice cream, but Ripley's didn't have any :(. We promised we would get them some, so we made a stop at Dunkin Doughnuts.
I think it was worth the wait!We had an awesome time and really enjoyed being able to have some family time for a change!
